I am a Student Therapist completing my practicum for my Master's in Counselling program.
I have a background in both secondary and early childhood education, as well as training in yoga and mindfulness for children and adults. I hold a Master’s in Religious Education and am excited to complete my Master’s in Counselling.
I have spent the past two decades supporting children, adolescents, and their families as a Diverse Learning Teacher. I am passionate about helping families build strong, connected relationships that allow adolescents to grow, thrive, and feel understood within a supportive home environment.
I work primarily with adolescents and their parents, supporting concerns such as stress and anxiety (including school and peer-related), ADHD, learning differences, life transitions, and body image. I also help parents better understand their child’s unique needs while developing strategies to manage their own stress and strengthen family dynamics.
I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach, helping families move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck toward greater clarity, confidence, and connection. I believe that every child and family has inherent strengths, and I work alongside clients to identify and build on these strengths to create meaningful, lasting change. My therapeutic approach is also informed by training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Narrative Therapy.
I strive to create a warm, supportive, and comfortable environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered in their journey forward.
