Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis ($85 +$85 consult fee)

Ever wonder why your blood test will come back as “normal”, but yet you continue to feel unwell, exhausted or have panic attacks?

Blood is “homeostatic”, meaning in order to balance itself it pulls vital minerals from your cells and tissues, at their expense. So, you may continuously feel unwell with anxiety, panic attacks, constipation, cold hands and feet, memory problems, physical fatigue etc. while your blood tests appear to be normal.

A HTMA provides a unique perspective that allows us see our critical mineral balances as well as any toxic elements such as Lead, Mercury, Aluminum etc. that may be stored in our body.

“Hair is an excellent biopsy material. It is easy to sample, easily preserved, and transported, represents a soft tissue of the body, and is a storage and eliminative tissue. As hair grows it forms a permanent record of the body’s nutritional deficiencies or excesses”. CanAlt Health Lab

Some of the minerals screened are calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, phosphorus, copper, zinc, manganese, selenium, iron, and cobalt. Toxic metal screening includes lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, and aluminum.

After an analysis, a detailed report is received and interpreted with recommendations of Homeopathic, dietary and supplemental support. Then, at about 4 – 6 months time an additional sample is sent to measure any changes.

By correcting tissue mineral levels and ratios with Homeopathy, proper diet, supplementary nutrients and lifestyle modifications, many physical and behavioral health conditions can be prevented or reversed.

How does working with a Classical Homeopath help in regards to HTMA? As a Classical Homeopath I offer Homeopathic Detox Therapy alongside regular Homeopathic care. This marvelous branch of Homeopathy offers the chance to clear the body of any toxic elements such as Aluminum by using Tautopathy. Tauto = “the same” Pathy = “a therapy”. This refers specifically to the use of a potentized drug or toxin that a person has ingested or been exposed to at some time previously.

So, if high levels of Aluminum are found in the analysis, then we use Homeopathic Alumina to stimulate the body to remove the Aluminum. Alongside that, I suggest supplements to help carry the Aluminum away and support the body in the process of elimination of the toxic element.

Food IgG Intolerance Testing ($312 +$85 consult fee)

Food Intolerance is not to be confused with a Food Allergy. A food allergy is an immune reaction that occurs almost immediately and symptoms can range from rashes, swelling, violent sickness, difficulty breathing and anaphylactic shock.

Food intolerances that are immune related result in the production of IgG antibodies and symptoms are usually not as severe and may not appear for several days.

The Importance of Testing

“The prevalence of IgG mediated Food intolerances are believed to impact 5 – 20% of the population, even as high as 50% in studies in certain diseases, such as IBS. IgG antibodies are the main line of acquired defence and the body’s specific response to pathogens. In normal conditions, the digestive system does not allow food particles to pass through, but when there is damage, small fragments of partially digested or undigested food particles pass into the bloodstream. The particles are recognized by the immune system as pathogenic or foreign and activate the production of specific IgG antibodies. The food particles (antigens) combine with the specific IgG antibodies to create antigen-antibody immune complexes. Normally these are removed by the immune system, but if the immune system becomes overloaded or compromised, the sIgG antibody-antigen complexes circulate in the bloodstream and can accumulate in joints and organs causing chronic inflammation and subsequent production of symptoms. These symptoms can take days to months to manifest; therefore, it is difficult to identify the offending foods. Food sensitivities, if not treated, can have a significant impact on the quality of life of patients and their families”.

The food intolerance report is a quantitative measurement of the intolerances to specific foods. The report uses a traffic style report, red means the food should be eliminated for a period of 3 – 6 months and yellow suggests foods that should be reduced or rotated, green is normal. The quantitative values can be used to plan an optimum elimination diet, eliminating the highest values for the longest period. The report is issued in two formats, one by reactivity and the other report by food group”. CanAlt Health Lab

The information obtained in the test can be beneficial during your Homeopathic care, as eliminating or reducing your exposure to inflammatory foods helps to mitigate any Maintaining Causes in your diet. You do not need to be under Homeopathic care in order to obtain the Food IgG Intolerance Test.
